Terms of Service & Licence Agreement

Effective date: 2025-08-21

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of OrbitFind (the website at orbit-find.com, our Chrome extension, and related features, content, and services—collectively, the “Service”). The Service is operated by OrbitFind (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1) Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we’ll update the “Effective date” above. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted means you accept the updated Terms.

2) Eligibility

You must be at least the age of majority in your country (or 16+, whichever is higher). If you use the Service on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you’re authorised to bind that organisation to these Terms.

3) What the Service does

4) Licence & acceptable use

We grant you a personal, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Service as permitted by these Terms. You agree not to:

We may suspend or terminate access if we believe you’ve violated these Terms or applicable law.

5) Availability

We aim to keep the Service available, but it may be unavailable or interrupted (e.g., maintenance, upgrades, network issues, force majeure). Features may change or be discontinued at any time. You are responsible for the equipment, software, and internet connection required to use the Service.

6) Third-party content & links

The Service may link to or incorporate third-party services or content (including search results, ads, and external websites). We do not control and are not responsible for third-party sites, policies, or practices. Review their terms and privacy notices before using them. “Yahoo” and other names/logos are the property of their respective owners; no affiliation or endorsement is implied unless expressly stated.

7) Intellectual property

The Service—including text, design, logos, software, and other content—is owned by OrbitFind and/or its licensors and protected by intellectual-property laws. Except for the limited licence above, no rights are granted. Do not remove or alter any copyright, trademark, or proprietary notices.

If you provide feedback or suggestions, you grant us a perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use them without restriction.

8) Privacy

Please read our Privacy Policy. When you use partner results, your query may be sent to the partner to deliver results and ads; that processing is governed by the partner’s terms and privacy notices.

9) Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED (INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT). We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free; or that results will meet your needs.

10) Limitation of liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ORBITFIND AND ITS DIRECTORS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AND LICENSORS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES; OR FOR LOST PROFITS, LOST DATA, BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, OR LOSS OF GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SERVICE OR THESE TERMS, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY.

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS IN THE AGGREGATE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF £50 OR THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM (IF ANY). Some jurisdictions don’t allow certain exclusions or limits; in those places, our liability will be limited to the maximum permitted. Any claim must be brought within one (1) year after it accrues.

11) Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless OrbitFind and our affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any law or third-party rights.

12) Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access with or without cause and without liability. Upon termination, the licence granted to you ends; sections that by their nature should survive will survive (including IP, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnity, governing law).

13) Governing law & venue

These Terms and any dispute or claim (including non-contractual disputes) are governed by the laws of England and Wales, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. The courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.

14) Assignment

We may assign or transfer our rights and obligations under these Terms. You may not assign or transfer your rights or obligations without our prior written consent.

15) Miscellaneous

These Terms are the entire agreement between you and OrbitFind regarding the Service and supersede prior agreements on the subject. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remainder will continue in effect. No waiver of any term is a further or continuing waiver. Section headings are for convenience only.
